Made it to Seattle !!
Rolled into the city along the gorgeous Snoqualmie River and Burke-Gilman trails, joined by my good friend Matt. We arrived at Gasworks park mid afternoon to wonderful warm weather and the Blue Angels (jets) flying over the city. Spectacular!
With all the excitement of arriving in Seattle, I’ve admittedly lost a bit of momentum on the whole making it to the actual coast thing. I’m going to try to eventually make that happen and bike the rest of the way across the Olympic Peninsula, but it may not happen until later this year.
Hooray!!!
congrats scott!!! cant believe you did it! glad you made it safe and sound and drink one for me while you are in seattle 🙂
AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scott: Congratulations Scott! What an achievement!
Awesome job! – It was inspiring to read you posts as you went across.
Congrats on finishing the trip. My husband and I have enjoyed following your adventures. We wanted to bike the entire country but for work reasons we are having to cut it short to only 30 days. If you don’t mind me asking, if you only had 30 days which part of the trip would you do? We are still not sure if we are going to just start in Virginia and see as far as we can get or try to cherry pick the best parts.
Again, congratulations that is an amazing accomplishment.
It has been amazing watching that little purple line expand across the country. Congrats on the finish, and here’s to many more adventures.
CONGRATS DUDE!!! Seriously awesome. I can’t wait to give it a shot myself.
Can I get a diptych of you on day one and this pic? I want to see how that beard came into fruition!
Congratulations, Scott!
And you still have some summer left over.

Hey scott, right on brother! It’s good to see you accomplished your tour. Good things happening here for me as well. I was out on the west coast last month for my tour and fell in love with a girl I once know in Anna Cortez WA. So, I’m moving to Oakland and getting away from Minneapolis. here is a number you can reach me and my new address. let’s go for a ride up the coast sometime soon. cheers. 714.615.7156 NEW ADDRESS : 1021 62nd St. Emeryville, CA 94608. rmhett@gmail.com – take good care – hett
